Farm Life
When I tell people I live at the Lake of the Ozarks, they usually assume I live right on the water, spend my free time boating, and enjoy the party lifestyle the lake is known for. In reality, my life looks quite a bit different. I live on a farm in a quieter part of the Lake of the Ozarks, where my father and I raise and manage cattle, primarily South Poll and Wagyu. When I’m not at MarineMax helping people find their next boat, you’ll usually find me back on the farm working with the cattle.
The Business
The main focus of our farm is simple: raise the best cattle and genetics we possibly can.
With South Poll, we’re focused on growing alongside a breed that continues to gain popularity for its manageable temperament, maternal ability, efficiency, and adaptability. Our goal is to continually improve our genetics and raise quality, manageable cattle that can add value to other herds. Interested in getting into South Poll cattle or improving your current herd? We offer bulls and would be happy to talk with you about what we’re raising.
With our Wagyu cattle, our focus shifts toward producing exceptional beef. We’re continually working to improve our genetics with the goal of producing the marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor Wagyu is known for. From genetics to the finished product, we want to raise cattle we’re proud to put our name behind.
